Ahi Tuna Poke


1 lb. AAA grade ahi tuna (sushi)

1 Tbsp. Olive R Twist Toasted Sesame Seed Oil

1 lime

2/3 c. organic soy sauce

Minced garlic and ginger to taste

5 scallions, cut into small pieces

Sushi rice for 4 people

Optional:  Macadamia or other nuts, avocado, mango, citrus, sesame seeds, red pepper flakes, hot sauce



Pour soy sauce and Toasted Sesame Seed oil in a non-reactive bowl.  Cut tuna into 1/2 inch pieces and place into mixture.  Squeeze in the juice from the lime.  Add garlic and ginger.  Cover with plastic wrap and place into refrigerator for minimum of two hours (up to 5 hours).  Make sushi rice according to package.  Place tuna mixture on top of rice and add optional ingredients, as desired.
