Join us for an evening of honey tasting with local expert beekeeper Frank 'The Beeman' Mortimer. We will be tasting honey made during different times of the year from Frank's local beehives, and compare them to supermarket honeys. We will be featuring several recipes for all to taste, including a salad with a honey vinaigrette, barbecued honey bacon wrapped meatballs, banana bread with honey, and a special cocktail! And of course, TEA with honey!
Frank is a Cornell University Certified Master Beekeeper, and former Vice President of the New Jersey State Beekeepers Association. He is the author of the book 'Bee People and the Bugs they Love', which will be available for purchase at the event. Frank also successfully campaigned for Ridgewood to become New Jersey's first "Bee City USA". Frank and his family reside in Ridgewood.
This event will start at 7 PM and last approximately 1 1/2 hours. No refunds available, unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist.
