Sourdough bread is a traditional and time-honored staple that has been enjoyed by people all over the world for centuries. Its unique texture, which is both light and airy, combined with a perfectly crispy crust, make it a favorite among food enthusiasts worldwide. Baking sourdough bread is a process requires patience, skill, and time, but the end result is delicious and visually stunning product that is sure to impress!
Kelly will teach you the basics of sourdough bread making and get you started with your very own sourdough 'starter' and starter kit! You will also get to sample other baked goods Kelly makes with sourdough, such as focaccia, bagels, scones and more!
Class will begin at 7 PM and conclude by around 8:30 PM. Bring some wine or your favorite beverage if you'd like! An equipment fee of $35 will be payable directly to Kelly on the evening of the class to cover the cost of the sourdough starter and starter kit containing bread making tools ($65 value) (cash, Venmo or credit card accepted). A 10% shopping discount will be offered to participants the evening of the class.
