'Hands on' cooking class with Sous Chef Melanie Bryant of ‘From Scratch’ Restaurant in Ridgewood on Italian Cuisine.
The very talented Sous Chef Melanie of 'From Scratch' Restaurant, Ridgewood, NJ, will be offering us a 'hands on' experience in the kitchen as we make some of her favorite recipes utilizing Olive R Twist's olive oils and balsamic vinegars!
There are lots of fresh vegetables and herbs growing in our gardens right now, so why not learn how to turn them into delicious sauces for your pasta dishes?! Chef Melanie will be teaching us how to make a tomato-based sauce from fresh tomatoes, as well as a basil pesto, from scratch! We will also be making two amazing salads utilizing seasonal vegetables, as well as our olive oils and balsamic vinegars. We will then get to taste the fruits of our labor with a delicious pasta and salad meal incorporating the sauces we make!
Cost is $65/person and includes recipes and a duo of olive oil and balsamic vinegar used in the recipes that evening! Please feel free to bring a bottle of wine or your favorite beverage! Space is limited!!
